Art Placement as an Art Form
ILevel is the only company in New York City that specializes exclusively in arranging and securely installing all types of art. We handle each project with equal parts design sensibility and technical skill.
Our Story
ILevel began in 1990 from our founder David Kassel’s passion for art and background as an art handler at the Guggenheim Museum. For more than 30 years, ILevel has helped designers, collectors, and institutions bring their spaces to life. What began as a small team of trained artists has grown into New York’s most trusted art installation firm.
We now comprise an experienced team of art handlers, each with their own background in art and keen eye for design & placement. We believe art hanging is a technical skill, and a creative discipline. Every wall is a composition. Every detail matters.
We handle each project with equal parts design sensibility and technical skill, whether it involves museum-quality paintings, fragile plates, contemporary prints, or family photo collections. Our clients range from major galleries and corporations to private collectors and homeowners who value getting it right the first time.
